We are currently seeking ​a SEEKING A SUBARU CERTIFIED TECHNICIAN to become an integral part of our team! You will diagnose, adjust, repair, and overhaul automotive vehicles.

You will join a highly skilled team and work along side Two of Long Islands best Subaru Master Certified Mechanics.

Riverhead Bay Subaru is a SIX time Subaru Stellar dealer and has just completed a 2 million dollar remodel.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair automotive vehicles
• Perform routine vehicle tune-ups and maintenance
• Provide labor and time estimates for automotive repairs
• Inspect and test new vehicles for necessary adjustments
• Perform a complete and accurate Multi Point Inspection
• Perform quick alignment checks and alignments as needed on a brand new hunter alignment machine

​Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Subaru automotive technician
• Knowledge of Subaru diagnostic and repair equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Subaru training a must
• Deadline and detail-oriented

Position Expectations/Requirements:

• Retail Sales experience

• Previous automotive service advisor/consultant experience preferred, but not mandatory

• Reynolds & Reynolds experience preferred, but not mandatory

• Basic Microsoft Office knowledge

• Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screening.

• Valid New York State Driver's License

  Position Description:

• Service Hours = Monday - Friday: 7:30am - 5:30pm

  Alternating Saturday: 8:00am - 2:00pm

• All Service Consultants are required to dress in proper business/uniform attire

• Answer all incoming telephone calls

• Manage accurate Route Sheet

• Properly Dispatch Service Vehicles/Repair Orders

• Start Service Initiation Process

• Meet & Greet Customers

• Perform Vehicle Check-In Walk Around Inspection with customer(s)

• Prepare accurate estimate on Additional Service Request(ASR) Sheet

• Prioritize required services and provide options to the customer(s)

• Document ALL Declined Services

• Perform FINAL QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTION

  and ROAD TEST of vehicle prior to Service Re-Delivery Process

• Explain Repair Order Invoice and Charges to Customer

• Set Next Service Appointment

• Perform Service Department Customer Follow-Up

• Inspect and test new vehicles for necessary adjustments
• Perform a complete and accurate Multi Point Inspection
• Perform quick alignment checks and alignments as needed on a brand new hunter alignment machine
• Must follow our express service procedures
